I love this so much!

One of the finest brass band renditions I've ever heard. I could listen to this type of music for hours. I was a trombonist and have a special love for brass.

Pete as a conductor is one of the few actors who looks like he really hears the music and conveys its emotion to the musicians. His performance deepens the scene profoundly.

Pete Postlethwaite in this film always reminds me of my grandad always in shirt and colliery tie immaculately dressed even though not that well off. Feel a massive connection to this film being from Sunderland and knowing what happened under thatcher
